This former Marathon Cottage style service station now houses a Dairy King is owned by Charles Duboise and his mother. They have talked about putting old gas pumps outside so it will look more like it did. It is located on the 1926-1952 alignment of old 66 at Commerce & Main (100 Main Street.)

x They also make Route 66 cookies. They are shaped like a shield and have "US 66" on them and are made in both plain sugar and chocolate chip.

We've seen at least three different years shown for this station, 1925, 1927 or 1931 but the Oklahoma Route 66 Historic Resources Survey shows it as being constructed in 1927.

x About Us We started traveling Historic U.S. Route 66 as a destination in 2009. It's like a 2,400 mile long drive back in time from Chicago to Santa Monica! more
xDid You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned lanes are still there.
