The stately old stone fire station in downtown Clinton, OK was built in 1939 as a WPA project. Times change and so do the needs of a fire department, so in March of 2014 a new fire station opened not far away.

Did You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned lanes are still there.
