Harkening back to earlier days the Western Motel entices travelers to stop for the night by pointing out that the rooms have air conditioning when that was a luxury. The sign appears to have all or most of its neon tubing in place and working.

The 24 guest rooms are split between two buildings, one on each side of the motel office and green space. It now also rents by the week. Except for the addition of a canopy over the drive in front of the office the place looks almost unchanged from the day it was new.
