Starting in the mid-70s and for the next 20+ years this was Ray's Bar operated by Mr. and Mrs. Reynaldo Maestras. Since then it's been the Zodiac Bar, and later the Sol 66 Cafe. What it was before Ray's is still a mystery to me.

Did You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned lanes are still there.
