The 35 unit Lariat Lodge was built in 1952 at 1105 E. Route 66 with 35 rooms. The Googie style sign still draws ones attention.

The lettering for Lariat, TV and No vacancy parts of the sign are neon. The white background behind LODGE is also outlined in neon.

Did You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned lanes are still there.
