In the early 1900s this was a Texaco gas station (where the dining room) and a Buick dealership (where the kitchen is). In 1923 it was the Liberty Cafe, then the K. C. Waffle House followed by the Mayflower Cafe in 1954 and the Golden Temple of Conscious Cookery in 1971 nd finally Cafe Pasqual's in 1979. Pasqual's serves handmade, and organic food.

xDid You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned lanes are still there.
