It's pretty hard to miss Cardinal Park Park at Broadway Street & Daughtery
Avenue as you enter Webb City. The Daugherty Street Filling Station and
Garage were built on this site in the 1930s but by 1993 they were vacant
and badly deteriorated and eventully removed.
The
park was dedicated in July 2017 and contains examples of mining equipment
from the city's lead and zinc mining past.

You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane
road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned
lanes are still there.
