This short divided road is called W. James Blvd. because the landowner would not sell the property to the state unless they built a divided boulevard. The divided section is only 2-1/2 blocks long.

The old road continues west beyond where divided road ends to I-44 and where curves to become the south frontage road is where the old road was buried by I-44, turn around there and back track to this intersection then turn north, cross the freeway and head west on the north frontage road..
