There isn't much left of the old Ozark (Tourist) Court other than a smallish white house building that I'm guessing was the office and owners quarters. A few feet east of that is block wall with a rapidly collapsing building on its east side.

These are all that remains of what was once a quite long collection of attached buildings that, based on an old postcard image, appear to have included several attached cabins (guest units), a gift shop and a gas station as well as the main building. The postcard also shows what appears to have been a detached cafe on the east end of the site. There at least seven cabins according to a news bit in a 1948 newspaper.

xAt the west end of the site, close to the road, there is what appears to have been a 2 unit cottage, still standing but in poor condition. I'm not sure if this was part of the Ozark Court or not.

I don't know who owned the place at any given time.

x About Us We started traveling Historic U.S. Route 66 as a destination in 2009. It's like a 2,400 mile long drive back in time from Chicago to Santa Monica! more
xDid You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned lanes are still there.
