Just west of Gay Parita Sinclair Station on the pre-1960's alignment of
Route 66 (MO 266) is the 215 foot long 1923 Triple Warren Pony-Truss Bridge
over Turnback Creek. The longest span is a few inches short of 70 feet
and the deck is only 20 feet wide.
When we snapped this photo in 2013 traffic on the bridge was restricted
to 8 tons and 15 miles per hour.
