According to a note in the October 23, 1947 issue of The Republic Monitor Bill Smith's garage was "going up fast". In 1993 William & Virginia Smith were the owners. Thus the new sign on an old pole. It is located on the south side on Old 66. In 2016 it appeard to be vacant.

The sign is newer but harkens back to the good old days when fixing a flat tire only cost 50 cents and an oil change could be had for a mere $3.00.
