Sadly this historic building has been razed to make room for a new jail.
In the late 1880's D. W. (Daniel Wesley) Robertson was a leading lumber
dealer. This building housed the first Ford automobile dealership in town,
as well as doctors, lawyers and other businesses. The first floor held
various grocery and hardware businesses over the years.
The Robertson Block Building was located at the intersection of Crittenden
and Jefferson Streets on the Town Square across from courthouse

road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned
lanes are still there.
