Skippy's was originally the Coachlight Inn which was opened in 1970 by
Joe & Loretta White. They sold it in 1988 and several owners later
Skip Sheleski took over it in 2000 and renamed it Skippy's Route 66 Inn
with the slogan of "Good Food for Good People". In Oct. 2016
Skippy's was heavily damaged by fire, but reopened after a few months
of rebuilding.
