1924 Bridge

Old Hwy. 66, (East of) Leasburg, MO
Phone:
x

East < GO > West

This bridge crosses what appears to be a small stream that is a branch, or at least a tributary, of the Little Bourbeuse River just east of Leasburg. The bridge railings have been replaced since we captured these images in 2016. This image is looking east.

GPS: 38.125959,-91.306088

The bridge is located just west of the Injoy Christian Fellowship Church whose little white sign can be spotted by the power pole on the right in this image.

xThe stream appears to start less than a mile south of the bridge at Kemp / Crote Mac Lake. This image is looking west. There is another bridge couple of miles west that the Missouri Department of Transportation calls the Little Bourbeuse-River Bridge.

x About Us We started traveling Historic U.S. Route 66 as a destination in 2009. It's like a 2,400 mile long drive back in time from Chicago to Santa Monica! more
xDid You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned lanes are still there.
