The old stone warehouse building was built sometime around 1903 by A.
A. Combs. They ran a Chatanooga Plows sales business in the building.
It has apparently been used for various commercial purposes over the yearsby
the Hamilton Brown Shoe Co., a movie house, a mortuary, and in later years
an antique shop. There is still a very faded ANTIQUES sign painted on
the east end of the building. Whatever it was used for it is a fairly
attractive symmetrical design.
