This bridge crossed Billies Creek just a short distance west of Halltown. The 1923 bridge shown here was replace in December of 2021.

The old Pratt Pony Truss bridge was built in 1923, just a few years before the road became part of the original alignment of Route 66. That 62 foot bridge was built by Baker & Koontz of Carthage, Missouri. The deck was 20 feet wide.
