This 2013 Route 66 mural created by Images in Tile from Joplin and is composed of 416 - 15 inch square satin finish porcelain tiles applied to a concrete block wall that was built for the purpose. It's a great photo op, get up close and read the tire tracks in the mural. It was installed just before the Route 66 International Festival in 2013. It is located at Main & Seventh Streets and has a nice park along side of it.

xDid You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned lanes are still there.
