Louis Stein opened the Twilite Dirve-In on June 11, 1953 with space for 300 cars. Opening night featured the movie The Magic Carpet starring Lucille Ball When it closed it was operated by Dickenson Theaters. It never reopened after the screen was heavily storm damaaged in the spring of 1978.

The Drive-In had a modern concession stand and a playground for children. A bad storm in May 1978 destroyed most of the screen and it never reopened.
