This little park started in 1996 with Claire Rowland who wanted to turn this once blighted lot into a place of beauty and pride. The lot was the location of the 1844 Exchange Hotel. When the park came along a later building being used as a car lot office was replaced with a gazebo. A fountain and clock were added but in 2016 the fountain was filled with dirt for a flower garden. Claire's Corner was dedicated In July 2010.
