The 250 acre Route 66 Raceway was built in 1998 and consists of a quarter mile dragstrip and a half mile dirt oval track. The National Hotrod Association (NHRA) holds some of their events here. You can enter either from Schweitzer Rd, east of Hwy. 53 (Route 66) or from Hwy. 53.

Like the Chicagoland Speedway this track is actually in Preston Heights but is commonly referred to as being in Joliet.
