The third and current Livingston Courthouse was built in 1875 and each
of the four corners has a tower. The clock tower was added in 1892. It
was placed on National Register of Historic Places in 1986.
A young Abraham Lincoln can be found taking a break on the courthouse
south lawn in honor of his many visits to Pontiac between 1810-1860.
