In case a traveler on the Mother Road in the early days of Route 66 needed a tow there was usually a helpful garage with a tow truck that might have resembled this one not to far away. There are 15 miniature cars and pickup trucks designed by local artists and placed around downtown. There are 10 1957 Chevys and 5 pickup trucks.

xDid You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned lanes are still there.
