This late 1800s building became the home of E. B. Bonny's Restaurant in 1910 and remained such until 1929. By 1930 Sieb's Hatchery had moved into the commercial space and stayed there for many years. In the mid-50s large letters above the second floor windows proclaimed "ODD FELLOWS", apparently they had moved from a space above the drug store on the other side of the Town Square and were occupying the second floor of this building by then.

The second floor space is a large apartment, one of the Arcadia Playable Arcade / Hotel Arcadia properties in McLean and is available on AirBnB.

xThere's quite a bit of ghost signs on the north side of the building.

xHere's a closer look at the E. B. Bonny and other signage.

xI haven't figured out what merchant the "Dry Goods" signage was for.

x About Us We started traveling Historic U.S. Route 66 as a destination in 2009. It's like a 2,400 mile long drive back in time from Chicago to Santa Monica! more
xDid You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned lanes are still there.
