This is a 19 unit motel and cafe was built in 1971 and renovated in 2010. It is located just off of I-55, exit 37 and the west frontage Road. The west frontage road is the mid-1940s Route 66. The westbound lanes of I-55 replaced the 1950s northbound lanes. Both the frontage road and southbound I-55 will take you to the intersection with the 1926 alignment at Worden, a few miles to the southwest.

x About Us We started traveling Historic U.S. Route 66 as a destination in 2009. It's like a 2,400 mile long drive back in time from Chicago to Santa Monica! more
xDid You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned lanes are still there.
