East < GO > West

The "Constellation" sculpture is located on Sangamon Street near Broadway St. The sculpture was created by Jason Hoffman in 2013.

x While you're here turn around and look west and check out these murals. They're on the other side of the alley but easily seen across the parking lot. The Cities Service Motor Oil Mural is a reproduction of the sign on the long gone Broadway Super Service gas station. The Artist is Steward Mclaren, one of the Walldogs who were in Lincoln during 2004 and painted 11 murals

x This mural of Hotel Lincoln is on the wall next to the Cities Service mural. It is not one of the 11 murals painted by the Walldogs in 2004.

x About Us We started traveling Historic U.S. Route 66 as a destination in 2009. It's like a 2,400 mile long drive back in time from Chicago to Santa Monica! more
xDid You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned lanes are still there.
