Patton Park is a little corner park with a Memorial Bell and Plaque, a gazebo and a neat mural on the wall of the adjacent building. It is located on Main and Cedar Streets

xThe mural covers the entire wall of the building next to the park.

xThe plaque in front of the bell says:

"This Park is Dedicated to Helen M. Patton: Teacher Business Woman and Benefactor."

The park has two bells from her bell collection. She donated them to the City of Lexington. This park was dedicated to her in 1997.

x About Us We started traveling Historic U.S. Route 66 as a destination in 2009. It's like a 2,400 mile long drive back in time from Chicago to Santa Monica! more
xDid You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned lanes are still there.
