Located in the Joliet Route 66 Park, the former Creamy Delight, now the Rich & Creamy Soft Serve Ice Cream stand building has been around since 1965. It started out as the office for a mobile home dealership before becoming an ice cream stand in 1977. It has been owned by the city since 2001 as part of the development of the Broadway Greenway project and is leased to the current operators.

x "The Blues Brothers " (Jake and Elwood), have been doing their song and dance routine up on the roof for quite a while now. It is located on Broadway at Moran St.

xDid You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned lanes are still there.
