The former Chain of Rocks Motel which opened in 1957 by Bill & Barbara Thoelke was an Economy Inn when we went by in 2016. . The big Chain of Rocks Motel sign came down in 2006. The motel is located just west of Roberta Ave. on W Chain of Rocks Rd.
