In 1960 the Cindy Lyn Motel opened with 18 rooms and has since has grown
to 65 rooms. Along the way it went from one person running the front desk
and doing the housekeeping to a staff of 25. As of 2017 it was still owned
by the same family. The room rate has grown as well, from $6.18 in 1960
to $80.00 for a standard room in 2017.
A third floor was added in the early 1990s and the east wing was added
in 1999.
