The 1843 Miller-Davis building had a pharmacy on the first floor and legal
offices on the second. Abraham Lincoln and a host of other lawyers used
the legal offices from about 1844 to the 1850s. The building was restored
in 1981.
A large historic marker stands on the sidewalk in front of the building.
The building is on the National Register of Historic Places.
