This mural on the south wall of the Union Hall Building honors J. M. Judy Grocers who operated a grocery store in this building beginning in the 1890's. The mural was designed by Bill Diaz based on a 1900s photo showing the mural on this side of the building. The mural was done in June 2002 during the Rt. 66 Firecracker Walldog Jam. It is located at the intersection of Race & Arch Streets, across the street from the Route 66 Park and the Atlanta Public Library.

x About Us We started traveling Historic U.S. Route 66 as a destination in 2009. It's like a 2,400 mile long drive back in time from Chicago to Santa Monica! more
xDid You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned lanes are still there.
