This mural on the south wall of the Union Hall Building honors J. M. Judy
Grocers who operated a grocery store in this building beginning in the
1890's. The mural was designed by Bill Diaz based on a 1900s photo showing
the mural on this side of the building. The mural was done in June 2002
during the Rt. 66 Firecracker Walldog Jam. It is located at the intersection
of Race & Arch Streets, across the street from the Route
66 Park and the Atlanta Public
Library.
