Originally built in 1905 as the First Methodist Church the whole building
was moved hand hewn sandstone block by sandstone block to this location
in 1920-1925 from Colorado Blvd & Marengo St to Colorado Blvd and
Holliston St. It originally had a square tower on the corner that rose
to a spire that towered over the main building.
Like just about anyplace with some empty frontage on Colorado Avenue
the church erects bleachers for the New Years Day Tourament of Roses
Parade.
