The Moana Motel still has the attached garages which probably dates it to the 1940s or early 50s at the latest. There are two guest room buildings near the road that had the garages. It's hard to tell if there were a couple more similar buildings or not, there appears to have been room for that.

It is located at 17610 Foothill Blvd, just past Alder Ave.

The two buildings nearest the road appear to heve been pretty well preserved, at least cosmetically. The double raised bands on the walls add a nice styling touch.

The brightly colored vintage sign is the easiest wat to spot this motel. There's a bunch of tube lighting of some sort on the sign.

The sign stands in a grassy courtyard between the driveways.
