The former 20 unit Skyview Motel was built in the mid-1940s, it had become the Plaza Motel by 2009. The restaurant was the Broiler Cafe in 1952, but had become a laundromat by the time we went by in 2009 as well. There is, or at least was, a good sized swimming pool.

xDid You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned lanes are still there.
