Cedar Point Trading Post

I-40 Exit 341, Sanders, AZ
Phone:x

East < GO > West

The foundations are all that's left of the Cedar Point Trading Post that established in 1928. It was operated by several proprietors at least until the late 1970s. In the mid to late 50s there were 4 Conoco gas pumps out front, signs on the building announced the offering of General Merchandise and Tourist Supplies.

The ruins are located on the south side of the Ortega Rd. and I-40 exit 341. Take the eastbound ramp to I-40 (a two way road at this point) to the ruins then turn around where Cedar Point Road branches off to the right and return to I-40 westbound.

x About Us We started traveling Historic U.S. Route 66 as a destination in 2009. It's like a 2,400 mile long drive back in time from Chicago to Santa Monica! more
xDid You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned lanes are still there.
