You'll find the ruins of the Appaloosa Corral Bar on the north frontage road about 2.3 miles west of the Hwy. 191 / I-40 exit 339 to Sanders.

What's left of the building seems to have become a target for graffiti artists.

So while there is not much left of the Appaloosa, part of the sign is still standing. I'm not sure what the lettering on the sign spelled, but it doesn't look like Appaloosa, so maybe the place changed names at some point. The sign and ruins are pretty easily spotted from I-40 at about milepost 337.
