The Meteor Crater RV Park is just south of I-40 exit 233, which is also the exit to the Meteor Crater itself. The RV Park has over 60 spaces ranging from tent sites to full hookups. There's also a gift shop, convience store and gas station in the geodesic dome at the entrance.

The 1926 alignment of Route 66, now a gravel road, runs on the south side of the RV park and serves as an access to it. The old road runs east too, but you soon come to a gate marked private property. At that point you can see the old Meteor Crater Observatory in the distance.
