The former Indian Curio Shop was built in 1940 according to the 2012 Route 66 In Arizona Historic Resource Survey. It was the Patriot V-Twin motorcycle parts store when we took these photos in 2015. The stone faced section is more of a mystery, I'm not sure if it an addition to the white building, or if it had it's own entry door at some point in time, or if the white building was an addition to the stone section?

In 2015 there a pretty neat and colorful sign / mural on the side of the building. The motorcycle shop and the church next door share one of the signs out front. The east side of the sign advertises the church.

The west side of the round top sign advertises the motorcycle parts shop.

x About Us We started traveling Historic U.S. Route 66 as a destination in 2009. It's like a 2,400 mile long drive back in time from Chicago to Santa Monica! more
xDid You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned lanes are still there.
