This abandoned Chevron gas station and garage still had a Minyard Feed
Store sign above the garage door on the bigger building after the gas
pumps were gone. But there were no signs left when this photo was taken
in 2015. It sits on a dead end on the northwest side of I-40 at exit 333.
You can still see the word GARAGE on the roof in this photo. I've digitally
removed some but not all of the graffiti from the images.

You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane
road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned
lanes are still there.
