Standing next to the Alanreed Post Office, which is also a gas stationa and convenience store, is an old pioneer jail with a large "BEER" sign on it. Makes me wonder if the jail's motto was "Get Your Beer and Bunk Here!"

It's easy to miss the old jail because of the big beer sign stuck to the side, so this photo might help folks locate it easier. There is a small motel here too.
