This old stone walled building was once the Moose Lodge. There was a board
crossing the lower part of the upper window that said 'Moose Lodge".
The lower left window used to house a Bingo on Thursdays sign. It is located
just past Main St on the south side of Route 66.
You
can see where the Moose Lodge sign was because of the lighter color
on each side of the upper window. The board at the bottom of that window
appears to show a barely visible number, maybe the lodge number.

You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane
road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned
lanes are still there.
