Mr
Swiss started in 1964 in Oklahoma City and by 1969 it had 175 locations.
The company was sold in 1971 and by the end of the 1970s there were
very few left.

You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane
road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned
lanes are still there.
