Two columns still stand in front of the station. I'm not sure if those
were canopy supports or light columns. I tend to think they supported
a canopy over the pumps because of the roof line on the remaining building,
gable in front, hip style in back.

Did
You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane
road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned
lanes are still there.
