This building housed the world's largest collection of matchbook covers in 2001, they went up in flames in 2003, but the building survived and has seen a few other uses since then. When or why it was built is still a mystery to me. A new roof was added sometime after this 2009 photo.

Did You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned lanes are still there.
