The Coronado Courts and Service Station were here at least as far back as 1947 when Alphonso A. Sanchez was the propriitor. In 1948 the station was selling Firestone tires and inner tubes. The gas station was selling Texaco products in 1954. It was still Coronado Court in 1967. By 1983 Bobby Serano owned the Coronado Courts and was running Bobby's Trading Post.

xYou can get a peek at the old Courts building behind a fence various stuff. That said you can see how th erooms were separated by garages.

x About Us We started traveling Historic U.S. Route 66 as a destination in 2009. It's like a 2,400 mile long drive back in time from Chicago to Santa Monica! more
xDid You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned lanes are still there.
