The original Texaco filling station here was built in 1927. In 1930 it
was the Fourth Street Service Station. From the mid-30s to at least mid-1945
it was the Navajo Super Service Station #2, selling Texaco gas and also
Firestone tires. The service service bays to the north of the original
station were reportedly added in the mid-30s to 1945 time period. It apparently
continued to be a Texaco Station until the late 60s. In 2019 the "Get
it Fixed" ATV and Scooter repair shop was located in this station.
The building was placed on the National Register of Historic Places
in 1997 as part of the Barelas-South Fourth Street
