Just a few feet west of the Zephyr Station are the ruins of the John Eldon
Station which later became Stone's Standard Service Station and Cafe.
The building was originally part of the Bourbeuse Seed Company. The building
was originally part of the Bourbeuse Valley Seed Company. The station
closed after the I-44 freeway opened. The building later served as a bar.
The building eventually burned down. All that is left are the remnants
of concrete slabs and the pump island.
