The small mid-60s style 10 or 12 room former Ozark Motel isn't actually on a section of the old road only because the mid-50s four lane alignment is is buried under I-44 at this point and the notel ended up on a new frontage road. A mile or so west the frontage road road merges with the 1926 alignment.

Did You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned lanes are still there.
