This gas station appeared to be closed when we went by in 2016. It was
apparently so important to have a driveway from both streets that the
taller part of the building is more or less triangular in shape to allow
the main building to sit ant an angle on the lot.
I don't know the age of this station, but the canopy definitely appears
to be a later addition. There was a Multi-Mile Tires sign between the
office and garage doors.

You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane
road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned
lanes are still there.
