Relax! This is a WATER tower, so don't get your hopes up :) It may be
that this is the only town named for Bourbon whiskey. It got the name
because the railroad workers and local folks were fond of a new whiskey
called Bourbon that Richard Turner was selling at his general store.
The water tower is on the North I-44 Service Rd about 1/2 mile north
of exit 218. There is another more modern water tower is located right
          near exit 218.

This no longer in use water tower was built in 1925.
